Q1 2021 Performance of Top Tabletop Games on iOS in Australia

As the first quarter of 2021 has come to a close, Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of the top tabletop board game applications on the iOS platform in Australia. Our data captures the trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these popular entertainment apps.

Yahtzee® with Buddies Dice from Scopely, Inc. showed a consistent pattern in downloads, peaking at 1.5K in mid-February and ending the quarter with 1.3K. Revenue fluctuated, hitting a high of 19K in late March, and weekly active users hovered around the 7K mark, finishing slightly higher at 7.4K.

Next, Chess - Play & Learn by Chess.com had a strong quarter in terms of weekly active users, starting at approximately 80K and growing to an impressive 97K by late February. Downloads saw a decline from 8.5K at the beginning of the quarter to 5.9K at its end, while revenue experienced a peak of 11K mid-January before falling to 7K in the final week of March.

Lastly, Yalla Ludo - Ludo&Domino from Yalla Technology FZ-LLC experienced a revenue peak of 4.3K in late February, with downloads reaching a high of 121 in early January. Weekly active users showed growth, starting at 821 and climbing to 960 by the quarter's end.
